I used to get a bit tired and sometimes lose my breath but now i only lose my breath if i go full speed on big uphills. And the only way i get tired is going is going on my last 3 speeds and thats pretty bad for your knees i heard . So what should i do to make sure i do good cardio ? And should i get like a heart rate monitor ? And does it burn less calories now ?

I've seen sites where body builders post pictures of their before and after pics, of losing weight or getting ripped, and it is pretty inspirational. But are there any weight loss forums that you know of where there are pictures of females losing weight, posting their progress, etc?
I really really REALLY need to loose weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm 4'9", and i weight...i'm not freaking kidding...279 pounds. I've tried diets before, but after about a week on a diet, i splurged and ended up gaining weight. My doctors says it's not a problem with my thyroid, i'm just fat. Yea, I tried to keep from titling this the all too popular "am I fat?" lol According to my doctor (after taking my BPM), I'm pretty fit. I'm a runner and I like to think I eat pretty healthy (though sometimes I can't resist the junk food my parents snack on!) But my parents are always teasing me for my weight and my body. My Mom was a model when she was a teenager and looked something like olivia newton john, and likes to criticize how I look a lot. Dad recently found out how much I weighed and now is making sure I hear an earful about it. Both are overweight, but they keep making fun of me and I can't help but let it make me lose confidence in myself. waist: 27.5" hips:34" bust: 35" (wear a 34C or 36C) weight: 140 lbs height: 66" age: 16
